About the Author
My name is Brady Lund. I’m ten years old and I live in Washington State, where I’m in fourth grade. My mom wrote two books, and that inspired me to write Squirt’s Day at Home. Squirt is my dog, and he really is a fun-loving West Highland White Terrier. But Squirt does not get into this much trouble in real life, thank goodness. When I am not writing, I like walking Squirt, playing tennis and golf, swimming and spending time with my family. I hope you enjoy the book.

Squirts day at home, is such a cute and simple book. About a West highland white terrier named Squirt and his day home alone. This book is very creative and well written by Brady A. Lund. My 7month old daughter really loves when I read this book to her (she has two fur babies / dogs of her own, a pitt bull and dalmatian.) as i believe that she really enjoys the bright and unique pictures that go with the book. We hope to read more from Brady A. Lund and his fur baby / dog Squirt in the future as we believe there is more stories to tell about Squirt and maybe Brady as well. If only fur babies / dog could really pick up there messes in real life lol. The only thing that would have made this book any better is if it was signed by the author himself as I believe he may/will have a bright future in book writing. Dogs truly are mans best friend and its wonderful that many kids get the chance to grow up with them.
All and all 5 stars from me as its cute and unique all around.

It is thtough his great imagination that we are taken on an adventure that he thinks his dog might experience while he and his parents are away. It is a wonderful story for children and my Great Granddaughter enjoyed me reading it to her. We hope their are many more adventures of Squirt to follow.
Squirt’s Day at Home is a delightful tale of the fun (and stress) that occurs with puppies. My 7 year old daughter Willow really enjoyed reading it. I was pleasantly surprised because it did not end as I expected and as an avid reader that is a rare find.
I did not know that this book was written by a child until I came to this site, what a talented young man! Hopefully he writes more books about Squirt’s adventures.

My daughter really enjoyed this story! We have two dogs at home and she is always asking me when they do all day while we are out running errands. It really had her imagination working and she loves making up stories of what the dogs might be doing in our absence. Thank you for sharing such a fun story!b
We loved reading about all of Squirt’s adventures at home alone. One of our favorite things about this book was that Squirt was able to have a bunch of fun but he was also responsible throughout the day. I loved that message for my daughter. We try to have a lot of fun during the day and at the end of the day we clean up our mess so we can make a new one tomorrow! Another thing that we loved was that it was written by a 10 year old. It makes my daughter believe that she could do anything she sets her mind to too! Keep writing!!
I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to share the story with my son, once he is a little bit bigger. The story line is cute and the dog makes it a fun read. I think there are a couple lessons to be learned- definitely check this story out if you haven’t!
My older three loved this story. They thought it was funny that the dog decided to clean up at the end. The pictures look great and have lots of color to keep kids interested. The story is a quick read but opens a lot of discussion topics with kids. We talked about how if a dog can clean up his mess they should work on cleaning up their own messes. The kids also enjoyed that the dog decided to take himself for a walk. This is a super cute book and I think it is a great book for kids!
What a cute book! Squirts day at Home was so fun to read! My son does not love to read books, and as he started reading he was getting more into the book and loved the pictures! His favorite part was the trouble squirt made with the toilet paper , you will have to check it out to see what he gets into! We were so very impressed that the author is a young boy who is in 4th grade! wow! i really recommend this book to kids of all ages!
I absolutely loved the book. I have had dogs my whole life, and was instantly drawn to the book because of that. I often wonder what my little Chihuahua mix dog gets into while I’m away at work for the day, and this book was so accurate of what my mind wanders to. I loved the creativity and think it is an absolutely amazing children’s book and a wonderfully written book by Brady. Would absolutely recommend to others. Plan on sharing this book with my toddler niece!
This was absolutely adorable! I love the view of the home life and what Squirt does while everyone is off and about, not home. It is great to see what fun he has and what kinds of things he likes to do. And even better it is not destructive or bad – he is a responsible puppy! I am even more impressed by the fact that this book was written by a 10-year-old. Great job! I love this more than the book itself and am super excited to share it with others, including my own kids. I have an aspiring writer who is about to turn 12, so this is something I want to share with him to encourage him in his own writing and publishing dreams. Thank you for not only a great story, but the inspiration for other young writers! Way to go!
My son and I really enjoyed reading this book. We have read it several times over the last week. I am sure he will ask for me to read it again. I think this is a nice story with a good message. My son loved Squirt. Such a cute doggie. My son is 4 and this pictures caught his attention and kept his attention throughout the whole book. Our favorite was when he was covered in toilet paper. We both laughed. We were so very impressed that the author is a young boy who is in 4th grade! .We have told several of our friends about this book already!

This is such a cute little story and made all the better by the sweet backstory of the author. My boys enjoyed this book and loved the art too.
